2:237
وَإِنْ طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَمَسُّوهُنَّ وَقَدْ فَرَضْتُمْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَة ً فَنِصْفُ مَا فَرَضْتُمْ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَعْفُونَ أَوْ يَعْفُوَ الَّذِي بِيَدِه ِِ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ وَأَنْ تَعْفُوا أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى وَلاَ تَنسَوْا الْفَضْلَ بَيْنَكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِير ٌ

Wa 'In Ţallaqtumūhunna Min Qabli 'An Tamassūhunna Wa Qad FaraĐtum Lahunna FarīĐatan Fanişfu Mā FaraĐtum 'Illā 'An Ya`fūna 'Aw Ya`fuwa Al-Ladhī Biyadihi `Uqdatu An-Nikāĥi Wa 'An Ta`fū 'Aqrabu Lilttaqwá Wa Lā Tansaw Al-FaĐla Baynakum 'Inna Allāha Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun 

And if you divorce them before having sexual intercourse with them, but you have already set the dowry for them; then you must give half of what you have agreed,

And do not forget the And if you forgive, it is closer to righteousness. unless they forgive or the guardian over the marriage contract forgives. favor between you; God is Seer of what you do.

4:11
يُوصِيكُمُ اللَّهُ فِي أَوْلاَدِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الأُنثَيَيْنِ فَإِنْ كُنَّ نِسَاء ً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ وَاحِدَة ً فَلَهَاالنِّصْفُ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِد ٍ مِنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِنْ كَانَ لَه ُُ وَلَد ٌ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَه ُُ وَلَد ٌ وَوَرِثَهُ~ُ أَبَوَاه ُُ فَلِأَمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ~ُ إِخْوَة ٌ فَلِأَمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّة ٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْن ٍ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعا ً فَرِيضَة ً مِنَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيماً حَكِيما ً

Yūşīkumu Allāhu Fī 'Awlādikum Lildhdhakari Mithlu Ĥažži Al-'Unthayayni Fa'in Kunna Nisā'an Fawqa Athnatayni Falahunna Thuluthā Mā Taraka Wa 'In Kānat Wāĥidatan Falahā An-Nişfu Wa Li'abawayhi Likulli Wāĥidin Minhumā As-Sudusu Mimmā Taraka 'In Kāna Lahu Waladun Fa'in Lam Yakun Lahu Waladun Wa Warithahu 'Abawāhu Fali'ammihi Ath-Thuluthu Fa'in Kāna Lahu 'Ikhwatun Fali'ammihi As-Sudusu Min Ba`di Waşīyatin Yūşī Bihā 'Aw Daynin 'Ābā'uukum Wa 'Abnā'uukum Lā Tadrūna 'Ayyuhum 'Aqrabu Lakum Naf`āan FarīĐatan Mina Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Kāna `Alīmāan Ĥakīmāan 

God directs you regarding the inheritance of your children:

"To the male shall be as that given to two females. If they are women, more than two, then they will have two thirds of what is inherited. And if she is only one, then she will have one half. And to his parents, each one of them shall have one sixth of what is inherited, if he has a child. If he has no child and his parents are the heirs, then to his mother is one third; if he has siblings then to his mother is one sixth. All after a will is carried through or a debt. Your parents and your children, you do not know which are closer to you in benefit, a directive from God, for God is Knowledgeable, Wise."

4:12

وَلَكُمْ نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ أَزْوَاجُكُمْ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُنَّ وَلَد ٌ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَد ٌ فَلَكُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْنَ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّة ٍ يُوصِينَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْن ٍ وَلَهُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكُمْ وَلَد ٌ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَد ٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّة ٍ تُوصُونَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْن ٍ وَإِنْ كَانَ رَجُل ٌ يُورَثُ كَلاَلَةً أَوْ امْرَأَة ٌ وَلَهُ~ُ أَخٌ أَوْ أُخْت ٌ فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِد ٍ مِنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ فَإِنْ كَانُوا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فِي الثُّلُثِ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّة ٍ يُوصَى بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ غَيْرَ مُضَارّ ٍ وَصِيَّة ً مِنَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَلِيم ٌ
Wa Lakum Nişfu Mā Taraka 'Azwājukum 'In Lam Yakun Lahunna Waladun Fa'in Kāna Lahunna Waladun Falakumu Ar-Rubu`u Mimmā Tarakna Min Ba`di Waşīyatin Yūşīna Bihā 'Aw Daynin Wa Lahunna Ar-Rubu`u Mimmā Taraktum 'In Lam Yakun Lakum Waladun Fa'in Kāna Lakum Waladun Falahunna Ath-Thumunu Mimmā Taraktum Min Ba`di Waşīyatin Tūşūna Bihā 'Aw Daynin Wa 'In Kāna Rajulun Yūrathu Kalālatan 'Aw Amra'atun Wa Lahu 'Akhun 'Aw 'Ukhtun Falikulli Wāĥidin Minhumā As-Sudusu Fa'in Kānū 'Akthara Min Dhālika Fahum Shurakā'u Fī Ath-Thuluthi Min Ba`di Waşīyatin Yūşá Bihā 'Aw Daynin Ghayra MuĐārrin Waşīyatan Mina Allāhi Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥalīmun 

And for you is half of what your wives leave behind if they have no child;

but if they have a child then to you is one quarter of what they leave behind.

All after a will is carried through or a debt.

And to them is one quarter of what you leave behind if you have no child;

but if you have a child then to them is one eighth of what you leave behind.

All after a will is carried through or a debt.

And if a man or a woman who is inheriting has no descendants,

but has a brother or a sister, then to each one of them is one sixth, 

but if they are more than this then they are to share in one third.

All after a will is carried through or a debt, which does not cause harm.

A directive from God, and God is Knowledgeable, Compassionate.

4:25
وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنْكُمْ طَوْلاً أَنْ يَنكِحَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ فَمِنْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ مِنْ فَتَيَاتِكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيمَانِكُمْ بَعْضُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْض ٍ فَانكِحُوهُنَّ بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهِنَّ وَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ مُحْصَنَاتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَات ٍ وَلاَ مُتَّخِذَاتِ أَخْدَان ٍ فَإِذَا أُحْصِنَّ فَإِنْ أَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَة ٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْصَنَاتِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ مِنْكُمْ وَأَنْ تَصْبِرُوا خَيْر ٌ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
Wa Man Lam Yastaţi` Minkum Ţawlāan 'An Yankiĥa Al-Muĥşanāti Al-Mu'umināti Famin Mā Malakat 'Aymānukum Min Fatayātikumu Al-Mu'umināti Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bi'īmānikum Ba`Đukum Min Ba`Đin Fānkiĥūhunna Bi'idhni 'Ahlihinna Wa 'Ātūhunna 'Ujūrahunna Bil-Ma`rūfi Muĥşanātin Ghayra Musāfiĥātin Wa Lā Muttakhidhāti 'Akhdānin Fa'idhā 'Uĥşinna Fa'in 'Atayna Bifāĥishatin Fa`alayhinna Nişfu Mā `Alá Al-Muĥşanāti Mina Al-`Adhābi Dhālika Liman Khashiya Al-`Anata Minkum Wa 'An Taşbirū Khayrun Lakum Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun 

And whoever of you cannot afford to marry the independent female believers,

then from those maintained by your oaths of the believing young women.

And God is more aware of your faith, some of you to each other.

You shall marry them with the permission of their parents

and give them their dowries in kindness; to be independent,

not for illicit sex or taking lovers.

When they become independent, then any of them who come with lewdness shall have half of what is the punishment for those independent.

This is for those who are concerned about deviating from among you.

But if you are patient it is better for you, and God is Forgiver, Merciful.

They seek a ruling from you, say: "God gives you the ruling for those who have no descendants. If a person passes away and has no children but has a sister, then she shall receive half of what he leaves behind. And he will inherit from her if she has no child. However, if he has two sisters, then they will receive
 

4:176

يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلاَلَةِ إِنِ امْرُؤٌ هَلَكَ لَيْسَ لَه ُُ وَلَد ٌ وَلَهُ~ُ أُخْت ٌ فَلَهَا نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَا إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهَا وَلَد ٌ فَإِنْ كَانَتَا اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُمَا الثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَ وَإِنْ كَانُوا إِخْوَة ً رِجَالا ً وَنِسَاء ً فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الأُنثَيَيْنِ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَضِلُّوا وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيم 
Yastaftūnaka Quli Allāhu Yuftīkum Fī Al-Kalālati 'Ini Amru'uun Halaka Laysa Lahu Waladun Wa Lahu 'Ukhtun Falahā Nişfu Mā Taraka Wa Huwa Yarithuhā 'In Lam Yakun Lahā Waladun Fa'in Kānatā Athnatayni Falahumā Ath-Thuluthāni Mimmā Taraka Wa 'In Kānū 'Ikhwatan Rijālāan Wa Nisā'an Falildhdhakari Mithlu Ĥažži Al-'Unthayayni Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakum 'An TaĐillū Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun 

 

They seek a ruling from you, say: "God gives you the ruling for those who have no descendants. If a person passes away and has no children but has a sister, then she shall receive half of what he leaves behind. And he will inherit from her if she has no child. However, if he has two sisters, then they will receive two thirds of what he left behind; and if he has siblings, men and women, then the male shall receive twice what the female receives." God makes clear to you that you do not stray; God is aware of all things.

73:3
نِصْفَهُ~ُ أَوْ انْقُصْ مِنْهُ قَلِيلا ً
Nişfahu 'Aw Anquş Minhu Qalīlāan 

Half of it, or a little less than that.

73:20
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَى مِنْ ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَه ُُ وَثُلُثَه ُُ وَطَائِفَة ٌ مِنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ عَلِمَ أَنْ لَنْ تُحْصُوه ُُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَلِمَ أَنْ سَيَكُونُ مِنْكُمْ مَرْضَى وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَنا ً وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأنْفُسِكُمْ مِنْ خَيْر ٍ تَجِدُوه ُُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرا ً وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرا ً وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
'Inna Rabbaka Ya`lamu 'Annaka Taqūmu 'Adná Min Thuluthayi Al-Layli Wa Nişfahu Wa Thuluthahu Wa Ţā'ifatun Mina Al-Ladhīna Ma`aka Wa Allāhu Yuqaddiru Al-Layla Wa An-Nahāra `Alima 'An Lan Tuĥşūhu Fatāba `Alaykum Fāqra'ū Mā Tayassara Mina Al-Qur'āni `Alima 'An Sayakūnu Minkum MarĐá Wa 'Ākharūna YaĐribūna Fī Al-'ArĐi Yabtaghūna Min FaĐli Allāhi Wa 'Ākharūna Yuqātilūna Fī Sabīli Allāhi Fāqra'ū Mā Tayassara Minhu Wa 'Aqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Ātū Az-Zakāata Wa 'AqriĐū Allāha QarĐāan Ĥasanāan Wa Mā Tuqaddimū Li'nfusikum Min Khayrin Tajidūhu `Inda Allāhi Huwa Khayrāan Wa 'A`žama 'Ajrāan Wa Astaghfirū Allāha 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun 

Your Lord knows that you rise a little less than two thirds of the night,

and half of it, and one third of it; and a group of those who are with you.

And God measures the night and the day.

He knows that you will not be able to keep-up, so He pardons you.

So read what is made easy of the Quran.

He knows that there will be sick among you,

and others that go forth in the land seeking from the bounty of God,

and others who are fighting in the cause of God, so read what you can of it.

And hold the contact prayer and contribute towards purification

and lend God a loan of righteousness.

And whatever you put forth yourselves,

you will find it with God, for it is better and a greater reward.

And seek the forgiveness of God, for God is Forgiving, Merciful.
