Allāhu Nūru As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'ArĐi Mathalu Nūrihi Kamishkāatin Fīhā Mişbāĥun Al-Mişbāĥu Fī Zujājatin Az-Zujājatu Ka'annahā Kawkabun Durrīyun Yūqadu Min Shajaratin Mubārakatin Zaytūniatin Lā Sharqīyatin Wa Lā Gharbīyatin Yakādu Zaytuhā YuĐī'u Wa Law Lam Tamsas/hu Nārun Nūrun `Alá Nūrin Yahdī Allāhu Linūrihi Man Yashā'u Wa YaĐribu Allāhu Al-'Amthāla Lilnnāsi Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun

God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which there is a lamp, the lamp is encased in a glass, the glass is like a radiant planet, which is lit from a blessed olive tree that is neither of the east nor of the west, its oil nearly gives off light even if not touched by fire. Light upon light, God guides to His light whom He pleases. And God sets forth examples for the people, and God is aware of all things.

6:99

Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fa'akhrajnā Bihi Nabāta Kulli Shay'in Fa'akhrajnā Minhu KhaĐirāan Nukhriju Minhu Ĥabbāan Mutarākibāan Wa Mina An-Nakhli Min Ţal`ihā Qinwānun Dāniyatun Wa Jannātin Min 'A`nābin Wa Az-Zaytūna Wa Ar-Rummāna Mushtabihāan Wa Ghayra Mutashābihin Anžurū 'Ilá Thamarihi 'Idhā 'Athmara Wa Yan`ihi 'Inna Fī Dhālikum La'āyātin Liqawmin Yu'uminūna

And He is the One who sent down water from the heaven, and We brought out with it plants of every kind. We brought out from it the green, from which We bring out multiple seeds; and what is from the palm trees, from its sheaths hanging low and near; and gardens of grapes and olives and pomegranates, similar and not similar. Look at its fruit when it blossoms and its ripeness. In this are signs for a people who believe.

6:141

And He is the One Who initiated gardens; both trellised and untrellised; and palm trees, and plants, all with different taste; and olives and pomegranates, similar and not similar. Eat from its fruit when it blossoms and give its due on the day of harvest; and do not waste. He does not like the wasteful.

16:11

He brings forth with it the vegetation and the olives and the palm trees and the grapes, and of all the fruits; in that are signs for a people who think.
